To
be lucky enough to grow up in New York is lucky enough.
Surrounded by world-renowned
museums, Broadway, ballet and studying with art professors from around the
world, I was able to
grow in my art.
After
leaving New York and studying Commercial Art at East Carolina University, I was
sidetracked. I was lucky to have a very
challenging and accomplished career in the technology field.
Several years well-spent working with many
hard working, knowledgeable and driven people really fulfilled my goal and
result oriented work style. I was very
happy living with stress and impossible schedules.
Then, the dream came
true. I met my soul mate, moved aboard a
boat and sailed into the sunset. This not only was a fantasy of a lifetime to
live on the water, swim in many oceans, but also to experience cultures around
the world.
The many people,
places and numerous landscapes pulled me back into the impressions that one
needs to build the imagination.
Inspired by my surroundings, I began to create again.
My hope is to share
my art and my dreams with other people through my silk paintings as well as my
watercolors. I wish to see my work
hanging where other people can appreciate the colors and vividness of the many
streams that make up our lives and bring people together.
I have shown in North Carolina, Florida, Belize, and am part of a permanent collection at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. I have painted numerous commissions for clients in Europe, Canada, Central America, Bahamas, and the United States. My artwork can also be seen at the Art and Antique Studio, Eau Gallie, Florida..
